Origins of the Mini 1300 Cooper SPI
The Mini Cooper 1.3i marked a milestone in the history of the Mini, by adopting electronic single-point fuel injection (SPI). This technological development brought significant improvements in terms of engine performance, efficiency and reliability, while reducing consumption.
The Mini 1300 Cooper SPI has thus succeeded in reconciling the stylistic heritage and spirit of the classic Mini with the demands of modernity, offering a more pleasant driving experience adapted to contemporary needs.
