MINI COOPER S MK3 (1971)

SOLD  Superb Mini Cooper S Mk3 from 1971 (only 1572 Mk3 S were made) redone in "Cafe Racer" mode!

Our Mini was completely restored by its previous owner, absolutely everything was done according to the rules of the art.

Mechanically, it is equipped with a 1275 A+ rebored to 1360cc, Arrow forged connecting rods, Swiftune crankshaft bearings, Longman prepared cylinder head, all ARP screws, MED STR930 camshaft, dual HIF44 carburettors, 1.5 high lift ramp, electronic igniter 123, MED light flywheel, straight gearbox with self-locking, 3.7 axle and so on.

Chassis level, it is equipped with adjustable front and rear axles, the brakes are mounted with aviation hose and a large AP Racing master cylinder is used to push everything, the suspensions are from the AVO brand (very efficient) and to stick to the road, our Mini is fitted with Yokohama semi slicks.

The interior has also been completely refined with a racing seat for the driver and a more "comfortable" seat for the passenger. We find a 6-point Safety Device roll bar for safety and rigidity of the body, an internal KAD speed control, a superb period steering wheel, all the remote pressure gauges as well as the controls for starting the beast.

It has been built as "light as possible" as evidenced by its carbon fiber trunk and its aluminum tank.
