SOLD  Exceptional Austin Mini Countryman "All steel" from 1962!

For non-connoisseurs, the name Countryman was not necessarily for estate cars with wood, we call Countryman models manufactured by Austin and Traveler models manufactured by Morris.

The "All steel" version (all steel for non-English speakers!) Is an option that appeared in the catalog in April 1961, few customers asked for it which makes it a very rare and unusual model, more like all models of before 1966 our station wagon had the famous "Flat roof" (smooth roof without the ribs to reinforce it).

Our Mini is all the more exceptional as it is entirely original, it has only had two owners, no bodywork parts replaced (it only had the right to an exterior paint a few years ago), all its original upholstery, all its period accessories, even the 5-bolt front bumper is still in place.

All you have to do is get in the car, close your eyes, smell the unique smell of a never-rebuilt Mini, and here you are in 1962, leaving the BMC dealership with your brand new Countryman!
